**Job Title: Dual IR and Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)** **Shift:** Days (3x12 Hour - 07:00 - 19:30) **Duration:** 17-18 Weeks **Start Date:** ASAP **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dual Interventional Radiology (IR) and Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience. This position involves a blend of responsibilities across both the Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab units, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Float between IR and Cath Lab to meet departmental needs, providing care for patients undergoing interventional procedures. - Respond to urgent and emergent procedural needs, including Code Stroke and STEMI situations. - Administer procedural sedation and monitor patients recovering from anesthesia. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary services. - Maintain a safe and sterile environment while adhering to infection control protocols. **Qualifications:** - **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of applicable ED or ICU nursing experience required. - **Certifications:** Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required. NIHSS and PALS certifications preferred. - **Skills:** Proficient in various interventional and catheterization procedures, including but not limited to: - Cardiovascular interventions - Central line insertion and management - Administration of emergency medications - Monitoring of procedural sedation and IV infusion - **Charting Experience:** Proficiency in Epic electronic health record system is required. **Schedule Requirements:** - This position includes on-call duties during evenings and weekends, with specific requirements to be available for patient needs. - Commitment to weekend shifts, generally every third weekend, with variations based on scheduling needs. **Facility Highlights:** - Magnet designated teaching hospital, Level I Trauma Center. - 500 total staffed beds. - Supportive interdisciplinary teams including IV therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
