**Job Title: Registered Nurse (Float Position)** **Shift: 1900-0730 (36 hours per week, open to 48 hours)** **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of compassionate patient care. As a float nurse, you will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care as well as patient and family education. You will effectively communicate pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team while participating in the development of solutions for variances from patient goals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality nursing care using thorough clinical knowledge and analytical abilities. - Formulate effective nursing care plans within designated units and departments. - Perform a wide variety of professional nursing services, adhering to best practices and standards of care. - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel. - Adapt to daily staffing adjustments every 4 hours and potentially take on new assignments as needed. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty areas. - Basic dysrhythmia testing competency. - BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. - Strong communication skills for interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams. **Education:** - Required: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. - Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN). **Certification & Licensure:** - Current licensure from the Michigan State Board of Nursing. - BLS certification is required; additional certifications are preferred but not mandatory. **Work Environment:** - This is a floating assignment, allowing you to work across different departments and adapt to various patient needs. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
