Job Description
**Job Title: Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Program** **Position Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Physical Therapist to join our Acute Program team. This position is vital for providing comprehensive care and rehabilitation to patients across various settings, including the ICU, neuro, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and trauma units. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of physical therapy practices and a commitment to improving patient mobility and quality of life. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assess and evaluate patients’ conditions, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care. - Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. - Educate patients and their families on diagnosis, treatment plans, and measures to promote health and prevent disability. - Maintain compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements. - Utilize evidence-based techniques to support patient rehabilitation goals. **Requirements:** - Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist. - New Mexico Physical Therapy license required. - A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required. - Proven experience in treating patients within ICU, neuro, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and trauma settings. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. **Work Schedule:** - Variable shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, as required by patient census. - Contract duration: 13 weeks. **Why Join Us?** - Be part of a dynamic team that is focused on delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive environment. - Enjoy a flexible schedule that fits your lifestyle. --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
