**Job Title:** Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Program **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Physical Therapist to join our Acute Program. As a Physical Therapist (PT), you will play a vital role in helping patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore physical function. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to make a difference in the healthcare field. **Key Responsibilities:** - Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. - Provide physical therapy services in various settings such as hospitals and outpatient clinics, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards of care. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes, particularly focusing on patients in intensive care, neuro, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and trauma settings. - Educate patients and caregivers on the management of conditions and prevention strategies for long-term health benefits. - Implement fitness and wellness-oriented programs to prevent loss of mobility and promote healthier lifestyles. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care setting. - Current physical therapy license in New Mexico is required. - Must possess a Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in Physical Therapy. - Demonstrated experience with ICU, neuro, orthopedics, cardiology, and trauma patients. **Schedule:** - Flexible 8-hour shifts based on census requirements, including 8a-4:30p or 9a-5:30p. **Contract Details:** - Duration: 13 weeks - Guaranteed hours based on contractual agreement. --- **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
