**Job Title: RN - Labor and Delivery/Pediatrics (NICU)** **Shift: Night (19:00 - 07:00)** **Location: Women's/NICU Unit, 2nd Floor - 5655 First Blvd** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Women's/NICU Unit. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on maternal and neonatal care. The unit features 24 LDRP beds and 10 NICU beds, with a primary emphasis on patient-centered care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, postpartum, well infants, and NICU settings. - Monitor fetal health using advanced fetal monitoring equipment. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain documentation and patient records in the CPN system. - Perform necessary procedures, including labor support and C-section assistance. - Educate patients and their families on care plans and postpartum recovery. **Unit Specifics:** - **Patient Ratios:** - 1:1-2 patients in Labor & Delivery - 1:4 Postpartum - 1:4 Well Infants - 1:2-3 NICU - **Staffing Description:** - RN, Unit Clerks (UC), Patient Care Technicians (PCT), and Lactation Consultants available. - **Equipment Used:** - Fetal Monitoring Systems, Alaris IV Pumps. - **Certifications Required:** - NRP, BLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, ACLS training is mandatory. **Qualifications:** - Current RN nursing license. - Experience in Labor and Delivery, NICU, or related nursing fields. - Proficiency in fetal monitoring and basic life support skills. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. **Work Schedule:** - 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM. - No floating policy. **Dress Code:** - Required uniform: Black and Hot Pink. **Why Choose This Position?** Our Women's/NICU Unit is recognized for its commitment to providing exceptional care.
