**Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)** **Location: Cleveland, OH** **Shift: 3x12 Hour Shifts (Day/Night Rotation)** **Contract Length: Up to 18 weeks** **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. This position is located at a leading hospital facility where the ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced unit. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor and manage patients with complex medical conditions using telemetry equipment. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Conduct thorough patient assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the facility's electronic health record system. - Participate in patient and family education and provide support for discharge planning. - Rotate between day (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), working primarily 12-hour shifts. - Work every other holiday as required by the facility. **Requirements:** - Minimum of 18 months of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry. - Permanent experience is required before applying for travel assignments. - Valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand at the time of submission. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications. - Must achieve an acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. - One supervisory reference in the specialty applied for is required. **Additional Information:** - Candidates should expect a supportive work environment with interdisciplinary collaboration. - Potential for shift rotation based on operational needs. - All candidates are subject to background checks and must have no pending cases or licensing issues.
