**Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RNC-OB)** **Location:** [City, State] **Shift:** Days - 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RNC-OB) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and delivery nursing, with the ability to provide compassionate care to expectant mothers during labor, postpartum, and antepartum periods. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during labor and delivery, as well as postpartum and antepartum phases. - Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpreting clinical information and preparing appropriate care plans. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following established protocols and guidelines. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients and their families. - Educate and support patients and their families about the labor and delivery process, as well as postpartum care. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. **Requirements:** - Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. - 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is required. - Experience in postpartum and antepartum care is highly desirable. - Must reside within 50 miles of the facility. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. **Additional Information:** - This is a full-time position with guaranteed hours over 42 contract weeks. - The facility has a specified number of beds and may require floating to other units.
