**Job Description: CT Technologist** **Shift:** 7 AM - 7 PM **Location:** Overland Park, KS **Position Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional patient care skills, extensive experience with GE CT equipment, and trauma experience, ensuring the highest quality of imaging services in a fast-paced hospital environment. **Responsibilities:** - Perform a wide range of CT exams and procedures with precision and attention to detail. - Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures. - Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to provide excellent patient care. - Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, ensuring optimal functionality. - Document and manage patient information using McKesson PACS and Meditech systems. - Adhere to all safety and regulatory protocols to guarantee quality imaging and patient care. **Qualifications:** - Current CT certification and Kansas license required. - Experience with GE Optima CT scanners is a must. - Solid knowledge of trauma procedures and protocols. - Excellent patient care skills and ability to adapt in high-pressure situations. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. **Working Environment:** - The position will be based in a unit with 3 CT scanners and compliant staffing ratios of 1 or 2 technologists. - The candidate must be flexible and willing to float between different departments as needed. - Dress code includes mandatory black scrubs. **Contract Details:** - Number of Positions: 1 - Guaranteed Hours: 91 Contract Weeks --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
