**Job Title: CT Technologist** **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM **Location:** Overland Park, KS **Unit Name:** Cat Scan **Number of Beds:** 3 CT Scanners **Patient Ratios:** 1 or 2 Technologists **Position Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services to patients requiring various CT examinations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional patient care skills and possess the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform all CT exams accurately and efficiently. - Ensure a high level of patient care and safety during imaging procedures. - Collaborate with healthcare staff to maintain optimal workflow. - Document patient information and imaging results in the electronic medical record system. - Adhere to protocols and standards for imaging equipment usage and maintenance. - Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff and technologists as necessary. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of ARRT (CT) certification required. - Current Kansas state licensure is mandatory. - Experience with GE imaging equipment is a must. - Trauma experience and flexibility in handling diverse patient needs. - Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care. **Working Environment:** - Utilize GE Optima CT scanners and operate using McKesson PACS and Meditech documentation systems. - Participate in a floating policy as required by department needs. **Dress Code:** - Required to wear black scrubs. **Contract Information:** - Number of Positions: 1 - Guaranteed Hours: Yes - Contract Duration: 91 weeks **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
