**Job Title: Labor & Delivery RN (Nights) - Rural Community Hospital** **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in couplet care to join our team at a rural community hospital in Hawaii. This position is for **12-hour night shifts** and offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers and newborns during labor and delivery. - Monitor fetal health and facilitate deliveries with intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring techniques. - Offer support in the nursery, ensuring the well-being of newborns through couplet care. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Take on charge nurse responsibilities when assigned, with additional compensation. - Float to assist other departments as needed, but not serve as the primary nurse in those areas. **Qualifications:** - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Hawaii, with labor and delivery experience. - Proven experience in couplet care nursing. - Familiarity with intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring. - Ability to work 72-80 hours every two weeks on night shifts. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. **Additional Information:** - Reference checks should be submitted via email; phone calls will not be accepted. - This is a full-time contract position with an expected duration of 91 weeks. --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
