**Job Description: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Nights)** **Position Overview:** We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our high-risk Labor & Delivery unit. This position is essential in providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers and newborns in a fast-paced and busy environment. Nurses will have the opportunity to work 4x12 or 3x12 shifts, with a preference for nocturnal hours from 18:45 to 07:15. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit. - Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery. - Assist in performing necessary medical procedures in the Labor & Delivery, antepartum, and postpartum units, along with the NICU as needed. - Float to other maternal units as required based on departmental needs. - Ensure the safety and comfort of patients while collaborating with healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team. **Qualifications:** - Current NV State RN license is required before the start date. - Valid certifications: NRP, BLS, and ACLS; STABLE is preferred. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery within a high-risk hospital setting is mandatory. - Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as on short notice based on hospital needs. **Unit Description:** Our Labor & Delivery unit features 15 labor beds, 9 antepartum beds, and 3 OR suites, providing a setting that caters to high-risk pregnancies.
