**Job Title: Orthopedic Trauma RN (Registered Nurse)** **Shift: 3x12.0** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Trauma RN to join our dynamic nursing team. This position is vital for the delivery of exceptional patient care within a specialized unit focusing on orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and various elective orthopedic surgical diagnoses. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, allowing them to thrive in a collaborative healthcare environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the orthopedic unit, particularly those dealing with trauma and surgical procedures. - Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. - Utilize telemetry skills for patient monitoring and respond to changes in patient condition. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. - Participate in professional development and continued education opportunities. - Demonstrate excellence in patient communication, providing education and support to patients and their families. - Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards. **Qualifications:** - Must have a minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience, with specific experience in orthopedic nursing preferred. - Current RN license in New York is required. - BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are mandatory. - Proficient in telemetry interpretation. - Strong ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment. **Work Schedule:** - Positions available for 36 or 48 hours per week, covering day, evening, and night shifts. - Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as per unit needs. **Why Join Us?** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
