**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for an 8 to 13-week assignment on the night shift. The ideal candidate will strive to maintain the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Implement and follow the nursing care plan, collaborating with physicians to ensure the proper assessment, evaluation, and follow-up for patients. - Conduct ongoing systematic assessments of patients' physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs through interviews, observations, and physical examinations. - Receive admissions and transfers to the unit, completing nursing databases within 24 hours. - Develop and implement nursing care plans that include problem identification, nursing diagnosis, interventions, goals, and discharge planning. - Assess safety and fall risk levels for patients and educate patients and families on their care and resources available. - Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation goals. - Ensure accurate transcription and processing of medical orders, integrating them into the provision of nursing care. - Administer medications and IVs in accordance with established policies, ensuring effectiveness and education on medications for patients. - Demonstrate competence in handling emergency situations, including CPR and utilizing emergency equipment. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in medical records, including care plans, patient assessments, and discharge instructions. - Stay updated on lab and test results, reporting any abnormal findings to physicians promptly. - Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to other nursing staff, delegating tasks effectively to ensure patient needs are met. - Adhere to all hospital and nursing department policies and procedures, continually upgrading skills and knowledge through ongoing education. - Embrace a customer service-oriented approach to patient and staff interactions, fostering a positive work environment. - Maintain infection control protocols and follow safety guidelines in all nursing practices. **Qualifications:** - Current RN licensure required. - BLS and ACLS certifications required before the first shift. - Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired. **Behavioral Characteristics:** - Skilled in communication, teamwork, and patient care. - Demonstrates problem-solving capabilities and the ability to prioritize tasks. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
