**Job Description: Medical Surgical RN - Night Shift (12 Hours)** We are seeking experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) for a night shift position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting, where you will encounter students and new hires and contribute to a culture of support and education. **Position Details:** - **Shift:** 12-hour Night Shift - **Assignment Length:** 91 Contract Weeks - **Floating:** Travelers may be asked to float to a sister campus based on staffing needs. - **Orientation:** New hire orientations are held every other Monday. **Requirements:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical surgical specialty. - Valid BLS certification required; ACLS certification is preferred. - Prior travel nursing experience is required. - Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record is preferred. - Active Virginia or Compact Nursing License required at the time of application. - Must provide all requested time-off (RTO) at the time of application. - Eligible candidates should be aware that client cancellations are possible up to 36 hours prior to assignment due to patient census fluctuations. **Expectations:** As a Medical Surgical RN, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
