**Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Day Shift** **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join our healthcare team. This position entails performing various interventional radiology procedures, maintaining a sterile field, and ensuring high-quality patient care. As an IR Technologist, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional healthcare services to adult and geriatric patients. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the interventional radiology department. - Interpret dysrhythmias and assist with laser-assisted and scrub procedures. - Operate and maintain specialized radiology equipment, including vascular closure systems. - Assist in a variety of interventional procedures such as adrenal angiography, angioplasty, nephrostomy, and ERCP. - Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety. - Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols throughout procedures. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, radiologists, and respiratory services to provide comprehensive patient care. - Complete all necessary documentation and charting using the Epic charting system. - Participate in on-call rotations as needed, specifically from Friday 5 PM to Monday 7 AM. **Qualifications:** - Current certification as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) from the Texas Medical Board and registration with ARRT (R). - A minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology or related field. - Valid ACLS and BLS certifications. - Proven ability to work effectively in high-stress situations and with diverse patient populations. - Knowledge of various procedures related to interventional radiology, including but not limited to stent placement, angiograms, and biopsies. - Prior experience with the Epic charting system is preferred. **Work Schedule:** - Day shift, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. - On-call requirement during weekends. **Location:** - Candidates must reside outside of specified counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris.
