**Job Description: Med/Surg Registered Nurse** **Position Type:** Full-Time **Shift:** Day/Night Shift - Possible Rotating (Varies on Need) **Hours:** 12-hour shifts **Contract Duration:** 91 weeks **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 **Overview:** We are seeking a self-motivated and professional Med/Surg Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Med/Surg RN, you will play a critical role in planning, directing, and evaluating patient care for individuals across various age groups. This position requires a registered nurse who is knowledgeable, resourceful, and dedicated to providing exemplary patient care in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit. - Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health conditions and needs. - Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and best practices. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Educate patients and their families about health management and post-discharge planning. - Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary. - Adhere to all safety and quality standards in accordance with healthcare regulations. **Qualifications:** - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Experience in a Med/Surg setting is preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules. **Additional Information:** *Will not accept in-state travelers unless they exceed a 250-mile radius from the facility.* **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
