**Job Title: Operating Room Nurse** **Shift:** 06:00 - 15:00 **Location:** [Location TBD] **Position Type:** Full-time, Contract, 91 weeks **Job Description:** We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Nurse to join our dynamic surgical team. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring optimal patient care during surgical procedures. This position requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and strong leadership abilities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and Operating Room Technicians to provide exceptional patient care. - Ensure adherence to the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN guidelines, and all relevant regulatory standards. - Prepare and maintain surgical supplies and instruments to guarantee seamless operations. - Communicate effectively with patients’ families, keeping them informed throughout the surgical process. - Update and manage physician preference cards to ensure alignment with specific surgical requirements. - Scrub and assist during surgeries, maintaining a sterile environment and supporting surgical staff. - Supervise personnel involved in patient care and oversee their compliance with hospital policies and procedures. - Demonstrate leadership and critical thinking in anticipating patient needs and ensuring efficient case management. **Qualifications:** - Valid RN License in [State TBD] - Current certification in ACLS and BLS. - Previous experience in an operating room setting preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
