**Job Title:** Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Nights **Job Location:** Colville & Chewelah, WA **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team for a night shift position. This role requires providing respiratory care to patients across two facilities, Providence Mount Carmel Hospital in Colville and Providence St. Joseph's Hospital in Chewelah. The ideal candidate is a team player who is comfortable floating between units and working in a critical access hospital environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients, including but not limited to adults and neonates. - Assist with emergency medical procedures and provide critical care support as needed. - Monitor and adjust respiratory support equipment such as BiPAP, CPAP, and mechanical ventilation. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans using the Epic charting system. **Requirements:** - Valid Washington State or Compact RN license required at time of submission. - Hold current certifications in BLS and RRT. - Must have documentation of previous charge experience and patient care ratio management. - Experience with adult critical care and emergency services is preferred. - Must have the ability to float to other facilities if required. **Scheduling & Patient Ratios:** - Shift includes rotating weekends with specific block schedules. - Expected patient ratio of 1:3 in the critical care unit. - Orientation for new hires: 36 hours. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Ability to work collaboratively in a critical care setting. - Proficiency in various respiratory therapy techniques and equipment. - Strong communication skills to effectively provide care and support patients and their families. **Additional Information:** This position does not require on-call duty but does require availability on alternate weekends.
