**Job Title: Certified Surgical Scrub Tech (Float)** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Scrub Tech with a focus on flexibility and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This position requires a floating role, with responsibilities spanning various surgical specialties, including orthopedics, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neurosurgery. Candidates must demonstrate significant expertise and experience in the Operating Room (OR), particularly in a Level 1 trauma environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain safety and efficiency in the OR - Prepare and organize necessary surgical instruments and materials - Assist in positioning patients and preparing the surgical site - Maintain sterile techniques and ensure the operating area is clean and safe - Adapt to various surgical specialties as assigned, showing flexibility as needed - Availability for on-call shifts, with the requirement to work at least one night a week and one weekend every two weeks - Participate in bi-weekly orientations; no block scheduling is allowed **Requirements:** - AHA BLS certification and NBSTSA certification required; CNOR certification preferred - Minimum of 2 years of total OR experience, with significant exposure to large trauma Level 1 experience in the last year - Solid knowledge across various surgical specialties, including but not limited to orthopedics, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro - Prior travel experience preferred - Must provide comprehensive work history, including bed count, EMR, facility type, etc. - Reliable transportation is essential; public transportation is not accessible in the area **Additional Information:** - Candidates should expect to work during 2 out of the 4 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day - IVS to offer schedules Monday to Sunday **Join Our Team** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
