**Job Title: Certified Surgical Scrub Tech (Travel Position)** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Surgical Scrub Tech to join our dynamic team in a travel capacity. This is a rotating 10-hour shift position, requiring individuals to demonstrate flexibility and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. **Responsibilities:** - Assist surgical teams in high-acuity operating room environments, particularly in trauma, orthopedic, robotic, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro procedures. - Float between different surgical specialties as needed, adhering to the operational needs of the facility. - Ensure all necessary surgical instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use. - Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless surgical procedures. - Participate in required on-call and weekend shifts, approximately one night a week and one weekend every two weeks. - Work two of the four major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Day. - Maintain clear communication and documentation of all surgical procedures and protocols. **Requirements:** - Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is required; CNOR certification is preferred. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). - A minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting, with evidence of large trauma level 1 experience in the last year. - Applicants must have recently (within the last year) worked in a Level 1 trauma center. - A solid knowledge base in the specialties mentioned above is crucial. - Reliable transportation is necessary due to the absence of public transportation in the area. **Additional Information:** - There are no block schedules; the facility operates Monday through Sunday. - Bi-weekly orientations available every Monday. - Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained in your application. - Applicants should provide complete work history information, including bed count, EMR systems used, and facility types to facilitate the application process. --- **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
