**Cath Lab RN Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in an acute care setting, providing high-quality patient care in a busy Cath Lab environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide direct patient care during catheterization procedures, including but not limited to, cath, pacers, ablations, and structural and peripheral interventions. - Ensure patient safety and comfort while circulating and monitoring during procedures, utilizing moderate sedation when necessary. - Collaborate with the interprofessional team to deliver exceptional care and advocate for patient needs. - Scrub for procedures as needed, demonstrating an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Participate in weekend on-call rotations, typically one night during the week and every fourth weekend, ensuring patient needs are met. **Qualifications:** - Current RN license and active BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. - Previous experience in a Cath Lab, including proficiency in EP procedures such as ablations and pacing management. - Familiarity with equipment from leading manufacturers, including Boston Scientific and Medtronic. - Knowledge of electronic medical records systems, including Cerner and McKesson. **Facility and Work Schedule:** - Work within a 175-bed Level 3 trauma facility with three catheterization labs. - The position requires four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with call requirements and the potential for short call during the month. - Perform up to eight cases per day, providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population. **Location Highlights:** - Located near Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, this area is known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant boardwalk, and numerous attractions that provide a great work-life balance and recreational options.
