**Job Title: Emergency Nurse** **Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM** **Job Description:** We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Nurse to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. Our team includes Board Certified ED Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Emergency Department Technicians, along with support from Critical Care Float RNs and Peer Recovery Coaches. As an Emergency Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective care to both adult and pediatric patients experiencing emergent, urgent, or critical health situations. Utilizing the nursing process, you will perform triage, conduct initial and ongoing assessments, implement nursing interventions, and offer discharge teaching to patients. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver compassionate care to patients in critical and urgent situations. - Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes. - Utilize nursing processes to triage and assess patient needs effectively. - Implement necessary nursing interventions based on assessments. - Provide education and discharge instructions to patients and their families. **Qualifications:** - 1-2+ years of Emergency Department or Critical Care experience is required. - Certifications in CEN, STABLE, and ENPC are preferred. - Travel experience is a plus. - Must possess a valid Vermont state nursing license. **Additional Requirements:** - Resume and skills checklist specific to the nursing discipline (within the last year). - Two supervisory references from your last two years of employment. - Willingness to obtain required certifications if not currently active. - COVID vaccination status should be noted in the application, though it's not required. **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Contract Duration:** 91 weeks **Weekend Schedule:** To be determined by the facility **On-Call Schedule:** To be determined by the facility --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
