**Job Title: Night Shift CICU Nurse** **Location:** New York **Shift:** 4x12 Hour Nights (19:00 - 07:00) **Start Date:** September 16, 2025 **Job Description:** We are seeking a qualified and dedicated CICU Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide exceptional care for patients in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Our facility involves treating complex conditions such as sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, heart failure, and multi-organ failure. This position requires a strong clinical skill set and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, including those requiring advanced interventions like CRRT, ECMO, and IABP. - RN-nurse ratio of 1:2, with occasional 1:1 assignments depending on patient acuity. - Manage and interpret lab data, including ABGs and dysrhythmias, to make informed clinical decisions. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including blood products and titrated drips. - Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care and achieve optimal outcomes. - Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families during critical care situations. **Requirements:** - Active NY state nursing license (must have in hand; no exceptions). - Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience in an ICU setting. - Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required. - Proficient in Epic charting system is preferred. - Strong skills in arterial line management, ventilator management, and care of ventilated patients. - Experience with multi-system organ failure management and emergency medications. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with cardiac and pulmonary patients in an ICU setting. - Prior charge nurse experience is highly desirable. - Ability to work every other weekend. **Additional Information:** - Local candidates are not accepted; applicants must reside 75 miles or more from our facility. - Candidates should be flexible and willing to float as needed within the institution. - Pre-approved time off arrangements can be discussed prior to contract engagement. **Join our team!** If you’re a dedicated and skilled CICU Nurse looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply today! --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
