**Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner** **Shift: Nights - Thursday, Friday with Rotating Saturday/Sunday** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering respiratory therapy to assist, control, and improve patients' breathing. This role includes the administration of various medical gases, oxygen, aerosolized medications, positive pressure breathing devices, and ventilators. Key Responsibilities: - Administer oxygen and other medical gases to patients as prescribed. - Deliver aerosolized medications effectively and efficiently. - Operate and manage ventilators and resuscitation devices to support patients' respiratory needs. - Conduct pulmonary diagnostic procedures and assessments to monitor patient conditions. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. - Perform additional related duties as assigned or necessary to ensure optimal patient care. **Qualifications:** - Active licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner is required. - Relevant experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
