**Job Title: Night Shift Medical/Surgical Telemetry Nurse** **Location: Upstate New York** **Shift: NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A / 7A-7P Night/Day Rotation** **Contract Duration: 13 Weeks** **Unit: Med/Telemetry Unit** **Number of Beds: 37** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Shift Medical/Surgical Telemetry Nurse to join our team in Upstate New York. The successful candidate will work 12-hour shifts, with a night/day rotation offering flexibility in scheduling. This role requires a commitment to providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, where nurses must be prepared to float to other units as needed. **Responsibilities:** - Deliver patient-centered care in the Med/Telemetry unit. - Monitor vital signs and symptoms, making recommendations for changes as necessary. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Document patient care and treatment plans using EPIC electronic health records. - Participate in professional development and quality improvement initiatives. **Requirements:** - **Experience:** - Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing. - 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates. - **Licensure & Certifications:** - Active New York RN license. - NIH and AHA BLS certification. - Flexibility to adapt to the facility's scheduling needs, including weekends and holidays. - Ability to work charge nurse duties if requested. **Preferred Experience:** - 2 years recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing. **Guaranteed Hours:** - Option for 36 or 48 hours per week, with a requirement for 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
