**Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)** **Job Location:** New York **Job Type:** Contract (20-26 weeks), Per Diem **Shift Requirements:** 24 hours per 4-week block, with 2 weekend shifts required. Contracts must run through the holiday season. --- **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to quality patient care and will be responsible for providing both direct and indirect skilled nursing care for assigned residents, particularly within adult and geriatric populations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collect and assess data related to residents' physical and psychosocial conditions on an ongoing basis, communicating findings to Registered Nurses (RNs) and other members of the Interdisciplinary Team. - Develop and implement culturally relevant care plans that meet the specific needs of residents while collaborating closely with residents, families, and healthcare team members to achieve desired outcomes. - Evaluate resident outcomes and make necessary adjustments to the care plan, identifying needs for referrals as required. - Maintain current knowledge and competency in nursing practices and participate in the orientation and mentoring of new staff members. - Prioritize safety, cost-effectiveness, and overall impact while planning and delivering patient care services. - Exhibit leadership in professional practice settings, demonstrating ethical principles and a commitment to quality care. **Qualifications:** - Current New York LPN Licensure. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. **Behavioral Characteristics:** Qualified candidates should demonstrate the ability to provide culturally competent care, possess strong problem-solving skills, and exhibit leadership qualities in nursing practice. **Why Choose ARMStaffing?** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
