**Job Title: Experienced RN - Med/Surg Department (Night Shift)** **Location:** Rural Northeast Oregon **Position Type:** Full-Time, 13-week Contract **Shift:** Night Shift (Three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend) **Overview:** We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg department in a modern healthcare facility located in beautiful rural Northeast Oregon. This position is ideal for RNs who are looking for a rewarding opportunity to care for both adult and pediatric patients. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care in a Med/Surg setting with minimal direction or supervision. - Work collaboratively with a small team of nurses and a full-time Hospitalist physician. - Monitor and manage patient health, administer medications, and respond to patient needs effectively. - Maintain accurate patient records and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings. - Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures, as well as relevant guidelines regarding patient care. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in a Med/Surg or relevant setting. - Valid RN licensure in the state of practice. - Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). - Strong critical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. **Position Urgency:** Normal **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 per week **Contract Duration:** 13 weeks --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
