**Job Title: Night Shift Respiratory Therapist** **Shift: 3x12-Hour (18:40 - 07:10)** **Duration: 13 Weeks** **Location: Local Candidates Preferred** **COVID-19 Vaccine: Not Required** **Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only** **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team on the night shift. This position requires expertise in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department settings. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic healthcare environment focused on providing high-quality patient care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver respiratory care to patients of all ages in critical care and emergency settings. - Perform advanced procedures such as intubation assistance, capillary blood gas analysis, and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. **Qualifications:** - Minimum 2 years of experience in critical care and emergency respiratory therapies. - Valid state license and required certifications (RRT, BLS, ACLS). - Preferred certifications include NRP and PALS. - Proficient in charting systems, preferably Epic. **Skills:** - Strong ability in ABG interpretation, mechanical ventilation techniques, and emergency response procedures. - Experience in pediatric and neonatal respiratory care is a plus. - Comfortable with high-risk deliveries and emergency situations. **Scheduling and Compliance:** - Shift requires weekend coverage. - Pre-approved time off must be submitted at the time of application, as late requests will not be accepted. - Travelers must comply with pre-employment requirements within 48 hours of signing. **Patient Population:** - Care for neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients. - Daily interaction with physical therapy, social services, and pharmacy teams. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
