**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - ICU/CVICU **Location:** Lake Havasu City, AZ **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM **Contract Duration:** 91 Weeks **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the ICU/CVICU. This position involves providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients with critical health conditions. Ideal candidates will bring a blend of clinical expertise, compassionate patient care, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver exceptional nursing care in accordance with established protocols and standards. - Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting observations in the electronic health record (EHR). - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort. - Manage complex cases, including STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, and more. - Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and recovery. **Qualifications:** - Active RN license with at least 2 years of nursing experience. - Previous travel nursing experience is a plus. - Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH. - Proficiency in handling intermediate care unit patients and familiarity with emergency department protocol as needed. - Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively under pressure. **Unit Information:** - Number of Beds: 16 - Patient Ratio: 1:2 - Equipment: Baxter pumps - EHR: Medhost - Supervisor: Katelyn Belt **Personality Fit:** Candidates should exhibit strong communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to patient-centered care. **Application Details:** To apply for this position, please submit your full application packet, including: - Updated Resume - Candidate Self-Assessment - Skills Checklist --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
