**Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU/CVICU** **Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM** **Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This is a full-time contract position with a focus on providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the ICU and CVICU settings. - Monitor and assess patient conditions, develop, and implement nursing care plans. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while maintaining accurate patient records. - Participate in patient and family education, providing information about diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing care needs. **Qualifications:** - Current and valid RN license. - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a preference for travel experience. - Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (or ability to obtain). - Familiarity with common diagnoses/treatments including STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair/replacement, and CRRT. - Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR), ideally with Medhost. - Strong critical thinking and communication skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care. - Willingness to float between Intermediate Care Unit and the Emergency Department holding area as needed. **Additional Information:** - The ICU consists of 16 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2. - Call requirements may be in place for weekend hours. - Housing options are available, and shift preferences should be indicated during the application process. **Why Choose Us:** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
