**Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)** **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) **Location:** Ohio **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The ideal candidate must have Emergency Department (ED) experience and possess an active Ohio RRT license. This position requires the ability to work weekends as needed and may require floating to different facilities as needed. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide respiratory therapy services in an ED setting. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. - Monitor patient responses to respiratory therapies and modify treatment as necessary. - Maintain patient records accurately using the relevant charting systems. - Ensure compliance with all facility policies and procedures. - Adhere to infection control protocols and promote a smoke-free environment. **Qualifications:** - Active RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - must be active and in hand at time of submission. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, particularly in ED settings, is required. - Must have two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the last 12 months (co-worker references will not be accepted). - Clear background checks and drug screening, including nicotine testing. - Commitment to compliance and facility-specific requirements is essential. **Patient Care Details:** - Experience with diverse patient age groups and conditions. - Familiarity with industry-standard charting systems is preferred. **Other Requirements:** - Completion of online training modules upon hiring before attending orientation. - Must be nicotine-free with a strict no-exemptions policy in place. **Additional Information:** - All requests for time off and scheduling must be communicated during the submission process and interview. - Background checks will be conducted, focusing on licensing and other compliance matters. --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
