**Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - 18 Week Contract** **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for an 18-week contract position. Our facility is committed to maintaining operational excellence while ensuring a supportive atmosphere for our nursing staff. **Shift Details:** - 3x12-Hour Shifts - Day Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM - Night Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM - Rotating shifts may be required based on hospital needs (typically 2 weeks day, 2 weeks night). **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver comprehensive patient care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit. - Monitor and assess patients' conditions, ensuring they receive timely interventions. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in developing and implementing patient care plans. - Document patient progress and care appropriately in the electronic health record system. - Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for effective patient care. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience is required. - Must have 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for, prior to travel assignments. - A valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license. - Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. - Must be available to work at least every other holiday. - Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation, with the requirement to achieve an acceptable score. **Preferred Skills:** - Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities. - Effective communication and collaboration skills within healthcare teams. - Ability to accommodate varying workloads and patient care challenges. **Facility Highlights:** - Work within a reputable healthcare environment focused on patient-centered care. - Engage in a contract that values professional growth and development. **Why Choose Us?
