**Job Title:** Night Shift Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team on the Night Shift from 6 PM to 6 AM. The RN will play a crucial role in coordinating and implementing individualized patient care plans using the nursing process, staying within the scope, standards, policies, and mission of our organization. **Essential Functions:** - Develop, implement, and evaluate responsive patient care plans based on thorough patient assessments to optimize health outcomes. - Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions accurately to ensure comprehensive care. - Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to facilitate seamless patient care processes such as transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support. - Recognize and address barriers to communication, including those based on psychosocial, literacy, financial, and cultural factors. - Assess and educate patients and families regarding their learning needs, tailoring information to their age, culture, condition, and circumstances. - Efficiently delegate patient care tasks to ancillary personnel and may precept new hires or student nurses. - Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment to make independent decisions and take appropriate actions. - Cultivate therapeutic relationships demonstrating empathy, respect, and equitable treatment for culturally diverse and vulnerable patient populations. - Implement evidence-based interventions to achieve optimal clinical outcomes while integrating technology solutions when necessary. - Maintain patient confidentiality at all times and uphold regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies. - Actively participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives and meetings. **Qualifications:** - Must be at least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions). - Legal eligibility to work in the United States. - Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen. - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. - Unencumbered RN License in Colorado or a Compact State required. - Current BLS Certification required; ACLS and PALS/ENPC certifications required (TNCC preferred). - Previous Med/Surg experience preferred. **Position Details:** - Shift: Night Shift (6 PM to 6 AM) - Contract Length: 91 weeks - Position Urgency: Normal --- At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
