**Job Title:** Emergency Department Nurse **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM **Location:** Houston Area, TX **Unit Overview:** Join our dynamic Emergency Department, equipped with 30 beds and staffed by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Our night shift operates with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4, ensuring attentive and responsive care for our patients. **Team Composition:** - **Day Shift:** 1 Charge Nurse, 9-10 RNs, 2 Techs, 1 Secretary, with 3 Mid Shifts (11 AM - 11 PM) - **Night Shift:** Same staffing model **Equipment & Technology:** Familiarity with bedside monitors, IV therapy, blood administration, and electronic medical records (EMR) using Meditech is essential. **Key Qualifications:** Candidates must have the following certifications: - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BLS (Basic Life Support) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) - TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - Preferred **Ideal Candidate Profile:** We seek compassionate, positive, and energetic individuals with emergency department experience. Candidates should be adept at performing various procedures, including: - Conscious & Moderate Sedation - Line Insertions **Work Environment:** Our team abides by established unit guidelines and policies.
