**Job Title: Travel CT Technologist** **Shift:** 14:00 - 10:30 **Location:** Virginia **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. As a vital member of our medical imaging team, you will operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform a range of CT scans including head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis, with and without contrast. - Ensure the quality of images meets the required standards for interpretation by physicians. - Maintain and operate CT scanning equipment according to the established protocols and safety regulations. - Prepare patients for procedures, including obtaining medical histories and explaining procedures to reduce anxiety. - Administer IV contrast as required for certain examinations. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure an efficient and smooth imaging workflow. - Follow all safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. **Qualifications:** - **Must Have:** - Certification as a CT Technologist. - Current CPR certification. - Valid Virginia State License. - **Preferred Skills:** - 2-3 years of experience in a hospital setting. - Proficiency in performing various CT procedures. **Dress Code:** The standard dress code for this position is navy scrubs. **Position Type:** - Number of Positions: 1 - Contract Length: 91 Weeks - Guaranteed Hours: Full-time **Why Choose Us:** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
