**Job Description: Registered Nurse (Outpatient & Acute Care)** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work predominantly in an outpatient setting with one shift each week in acute care. This position requires professional nursing knowledge and skills to provide comprehensive care to patients using the nursing process. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver nursing care to patients in both outpatient and acute care settings, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of care plans. - Collaborate effectively with other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Utilize the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, specifically EPIC, for documentation and management of patient care. - Maintain compliance with all health regulations and standards of care. **Work Schedule:** - Shift: Days, Monday to Friday - Work Hours: 8-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week - Call and weekend hours: To be determined based on patient cases **Requirements:** - Minimum of 1 year of outpatient experience required; experience in inpatient care is encouraged due to the acute care component of the role. - Must be COVID vaccinated; exemptions for medical or religious reasons can be provided upon request. - Current BLS certification. - Iowa state nursing license. **Patient Caseload:** - Acute Care: 10-12 patients per day - Outpatient: 8-10 patients per day **Join our Team:** We take pride in supporting our healthcare professionals.
