**Job Title: Operating Room Nurse** **Shift:** 06:30 - 17:00 **Location:** [Location TBD] **Contract Length:** 91 Weeks **Number of Positions Available:** 1 **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Nurse to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership abilities to ensure optimal patient care during surgical procedures. This position requires experience in orthopedics, spine surgery, and robotic assistance with the Davinci system, with a preference for candidates who also have vascular experience. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate effectively with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Operating Room Technicians, and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care in the Operating Room. - Plan and anticipate patient care needs according to the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies. - Ensure the availability of surgical supplies and instruments, maintaining strict timelines for surgical cases. - Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding surgical procedures and updates. - Update and maintain physician preference cards to reflect current practices. - Scrub and assist Surgeons during surgical cases, ensuring a sterile environment. - Supervise and support personnel involved in delivering patient care. **Qualifications:** - Current RN license and relevant certifications. - Strong background in Orthopedic, Spine, and Robotic Surgery. - Previous experience in vascular procedures is preferred. - Proven ability to function effectively under pressure and maintain professional standards. **Why Join Us:** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
