**Job Title: RN - Operating Room (OR) Nurse** **Job Type:** Contract (16 weeks) **Shift:** 8 Hour Days (645 AM - 315 PM) **Guaranteed Hours:** 40 Weekly **Contract Weeks:** 110 **Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room (OR) RN to join our team for a 16-week position. This role requires a minimum of 2 years' experience in the OR specialty and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of surgical cases, including robotics, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery, and gynecology. **Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room setting. - Assist surgeons during procedures, ensuring all tools and instruments are ready and sterile. - Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes during surgical procedures. - Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain an efficient and safe operating environment. - Adhere to all hospital protocols and procedures, especially during the holiday season. **Holiday Expectations:** Candidates must be flexible to work a total of 3 major holidays, including: - **Thanksgiving Day** - **Christmas Day** - **New Year’s Day** And at least one of the following minor holidays: - **The Friday after Thanksgiving** - **Christmas Eve** - **New Year’s Eve** **Requirements:** - Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in the OR specialty. - Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Preferred: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. - Ability to work on holidays as specified. **Qualifications:** - Active RN license in the state of employment. - Strong clinical skills and knowledge of surgical procedures. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
