**Job Title:** Diagnostic Radiology Technician (Rad Tech) **Shift:** Evening 8-hour shift, 5 days a week **Duration:** 13 weeks --- **Job Description:** We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiology Technician (Rad Tech) to join our dynamic radiology department. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging examinations, both inpatient and outpatient, including routine X-rays and fluoroscopic studies. - Conduct procedures such as C-arm procedures and lumbar punctures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the examination process. - Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation following departmental protocols. - Adhere to safety standards and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. - Participate in departmental quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. **Requirements:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Proficiency with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed. **Schedule Expectations:** - Standard shift hours from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. - Must be available to work 2 major holidays from the following: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day. - Additionally, must be available to work 1 minor holiday, which includes: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve. **Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours weekly **Contract Weeks:** 110 weeks --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
