**Job Title: Invasive Cardiology Scrub Tech** **Shift:** 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM **Location:** Nashville, TN **Unit:** Cardiology **Cost Center:** 76200 **Position Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Invasive Cardiology Scrub Tech with prior scrub experience in an invasive cardiology setting. The ideal candidate will contribute to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment. This position is pivotal in assisting physicians during invasive cardiac procedures emphasizing both patient safety and comfort. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in various invasive cardiology procedures, including Left Heart Catheterization (LHC), Right Heart Catheterization (RHC), and Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI). - Prepare and maintain sterile fields and equipment necessary for procedures. - Monitor patient vitals and provide support during procedures to ensure optimal patient care. - Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, utilizing advanced communication and teamwork skills. - Maintain thorough documentation regarding patient care and procedures using departmental systems (Mac Lab, Meditech). **Required Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in invasive cardiology scrub role. - Proficiency in cardiac monitoring (preferred). - Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and RCIS. - Strong multi-tasking abilities and high-level communication skills. **Unit Specifics:** - Number of Beds: 125 - Patient Ratios: 1:1 - Availability for call rotation (one week on, one week off) is essential. **Equipment & Procedures:** - Utilize advanced equipment such as IABP, IMPELLA, OCT, IVUS, and FFR. - Involved in performance of implants including Loop, PPM, and ICD devices. **Dress Code:** - Required uniform includes red or black scrubs or hospital laundered blue scrubs. **Awards and Recognition:** - Accredited by TJC in Chest Pain, Primary Stroke, and Joint Replacement (Hip and Knee). - Recipient of 12 consecutive Leapfrog A safety grades. - Awarded Top Work Places 2023 by the Tennessean. **Why Join Us?** This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing team recognized for its excellence and employee engagement, boasting an engagement score of over 90% for the past two years.
