**Job Title: Acute Care Hospital Radiologic Technologist** **Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:30 - 16:30)** **Start Date: ASAP** **On-Call Requirements: Yes** (Call expected 1-2 days a week and rotating weekends) **Job Overview:** An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join a busy acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare team. The role involves performing various radiologic procedures and ensuring high-quality patient care while adhering to safety protocols. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as per physician orders. - Provide exceptional patient care and communicate effectively with patients about procedures and safety measures. - Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate patient records and assist in the management of radiology equipment. - Participate in on-call rotations, providing timely services during evenings and weekends. **Qualifications:** - Minimum 2 years of experience in a Radiologic Technologist role. - Valid ARRT certification and state license are required. - Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. - Fluoroscopy permit preferred. - Ability to perform essential radiologic procedures such as Angioplasty, Central Venous Access, Embolization, and more. - Experience using Epic charting system is a plus but not required. **Patient Care Details:** - Primarily caring for adult and geriatric patients. - Daily caseload typically includes up to 6 patients. **Schedule and Additional Information:** - Must be prepared to float to other facilities within the state as needed. - Pre-approved time off requests must be noted at the time of submission. - Candidates should be willing to commit to working three out of five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day). **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
