Laboratory Phlebotomist

**Job Title:** Laboratory Technician **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our team. Under general supervision, you will perform routine laboratory activities that include patient receiving, venipuncture, computer data entry, and other related clinical functions. Ideal candidates will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform venipuncture and assist with morning lab duties. - Conduct patient receiving and ensure the accurate processing of specimens. - Entry of laboratory data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS). - Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment. - Collaborate with laboratory personnel to ensure efficient workflow and patient care. **Schedule:** - Shift: Every other weekend required. - Preferred scheduling options: Open to block scheduling but not preferred. - Typical hours: 5 days, 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM or 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of on-the-job experience in venipuncture. - Phlebotomy certification strongly preferred. - Prior experience with a Laboratory Information System (LIS). **Education:** - Required: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. - Preferred: Completion of a Medical Assistant or Certified Phlebotomy training program. **Certification & Licensure:** - Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver’s license and the ability to be insured by the insurance carrier. **Why Join Us?** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
