**Job Title: Physical Therapist** **Position Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with no weekends. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for directing physical therapy services, coordinating department operations, and administering prescribed physical agents while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to best practices in rehabilitative medicine. **Position Responsibilities:** - Administer evaluations (1 hour) and follow-up appointments (45 minutes) for 8-9 patients daily, ensuring no double booking. - Supervise and manage department operations, maintaining performance improvement activities, and participating in continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives. - Assist in budget formulation, and maintain departmental performance within budget guidelines. - Develop a system for reviewing department charges, ensuring accuracy and timely entry of patient charges. - Demonstrate professional behavior consistently, building positive relationships with patients, visitors, and staff. - Produce deliverable products on time, within budget, and with minimal direction. - Maintain organized records and deliver documentation upon request. - Communicate effectively and respectfully with all levels of the organization, including directors, managers, and coworkers. - Perform comprehensive assessments, including pain evaluations, and recommend changes to treatment based on observations. - Formulate teaching plans to address learning needs, including family involvement when appropriate. - Ensure patient care is conducted in a safe environment reducing the likelihood of medical errors. **Position Qualifications:** - A minimum of three (3) years of experience in physical therapy preferred. - Valid California licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist. - Strong knowledge of physical therapy modalities, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes. - Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification. - Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data. **Professional Requirements:** - Adhere to dress code and maintain a neat, professional appearance. - Complete annual education requirements and maintain regulatory standards. - Consistently uphold patient confidentiality and represent the organization positively. - Attend meetings and participate actively in the team dynamic. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
