**Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Pediatrics** **Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in pediatrics to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality respiratory care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will work three 12-hour night shifts per week, with a commitment to every other weekend and holiday rotation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Administer respiratory therapy treatments to pediatric and neonatal patients. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. - Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy and adjust treatments accordingly. - Utilize advanced respiratory therapy techniques and equipment. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic charting system. - Participate in patient education and support for families. **Requirements:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, with a focus on pediatric and neonatal care. - Current RRT certification, along with BLS and PALS certifications. - Active RCP license for South Carolina required prior to start (pending licenses may be considered with proof of application). - Experience with bronchoscopy, extubation, and pediatric critical care preferred. - Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. - Strong communication skills and a commitment to compassionate patient care. **Facility Highlights:** - Magnet-designated teaching hospital with Level 1 trauma center. - Total of 865 staffed beds, dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients. - Opportunity to work in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment. **Additional Information:** - Onboarding will include required training modules, compensated at the average duration of 4 hours. - All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application and will be evaluated based on unit needs. - Candidates must be prepared for potential emergency response duties during hurricane season (June to November).
