**Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Inpatient Unit** **Shift: 12-Hour Days** **Contract Length: 28 Weeks** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our inpatient team on a 12-hour day shift. The ideal candidate will be proactive and flexible, willing to work weekends as needed without any on-call responsibilities. This position requires substantial experience in adult ICU, as well as a solid background in general pediatrics, though NICU and PICU experience is not required. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients in an inpatient setting. - Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement respiratory treatment plans. - Document all patient care activities in compliance with facility protocols and ensure all work history and clinical specialties are accurately recorded. - Utilize Epic EMR software for patient documentation. **Qualifications:** - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) will not be accepted. - A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital setting. - Teaching hospital experience is required. - Current certifications in AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and AHA PALS. - Epic clinical experience within the last 2 years is mandatory. - A reliable means of transportation is essential due to the location's lack of public transport. **Additional Information:** - No block scheduling available; flexibility is required. - Applicants must explain any gaps in employment of 90 days or more. - Candidates must have all-season or snow tires on their vehicles from November to April, as weather conditions may vary. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
