**Job Description: CT Technologist (Night Shift, 3x12 Hours)** **Position:** CT Technologist **Shift:** Night (3x12 Hour; 19:00 - 07:30) **Start Date:** ASAP **Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic team in a Level II Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in a busy hospital setting and be proficient in utilizing Epic for charting. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform CT scans and related imaging procedures efficiently and accurately. - Maintain high standards of patient care while working in a fast-paced environment. - Ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols, including radiation safety measures. - Collaborate with medical staff to assess and interpret diagnostic imaging. - Conduct exams across various patient demographics including infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. - Respond to emergency situations and demonstrate proficiency in stroke protocol efficiency. - Flexibility to work in various departments, including ER and main CT, as needed. **Qualifications:** - Required Certifications: - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ARRT-CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography) - ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography) - Current WA State License - Required Experience: - Minimum of 1 year in a Level II Hospital setting with a focus on outpatient, inpatient, interventional radiology, and emergency room services. - Proficient in Epic charting and preferably Phillips PACS. - Preferred Experience: - Extensive experience with GE scanners (e.g., GE VCT 64 slice, GE HD750, GE Frontier 64 slice) within the last year. - Previous Level I and Level II trauma experience. - Familiarity with advanced procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, and various CT modalities. **Work Environment:** - High-volume department handling a daily caseload of 140-190 exams per technologist. - Expectation to be on-call 24 hours, with a requirement to participate in a call schedule (2x/month). - May require weekend work and flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs. **Additional Details:** - Position subject to floating within the hospital based on operational needs. - All travelers must adhere to hospital policies, including appropriate use of time management systems and adherence to break policies. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
