**Job Title: Med/Surg Tele Float Registered Nurse (RN)** **Location:** Woonsocket, RI **Shift:** 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM **Duration:** 13 Weeks **Schedule:** Every other weekend; must be available for night shifts. **Job Description:** We are seeking a qualified Med/Surg Tele Float Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of recent cardiac experience. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive expertise in caring for cardiac patients, particularly within a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac patients and those recovering from cardiac catheterization. - Work effectively in a float capacity across Med/Surg Tele and PCU units. - Demonstrate strong clinical skills and critical thinking in managing cardiac telemetry and post-interventional care. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. - Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions. - Maintain accurate patient documentation in compliance with hospital policies. **Qualifications:** - Must hold an active RN license in Rhode Island (or compact state). - Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required. - A minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele nursing experience, with specific expertise in cardiac care. - EPIC experience preferred. - Ability to provide two professional references and a Nursys report (within 30 days). **Additional Information:** - Must be available for every other weekend shifts, specifically Friday and Saturday nights. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for fostering effective relationships with patients and healthcare teams. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
