**Job Description: Travel Med Surg RN** **Position Summary:** We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment. This position requires working day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, providing high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and best practices. - Monitor patient health status and administer medications as prescribed. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical records (EMR) system. - Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and care. **Qualifications:** - Current RN license in the state of practice or pending state license. - Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. - Experience with Cerner EMR preferred. - Must reside 50+ miles from the facility. - Ability to float to other units as needed. **Work Environment:** - Facility Type: Hospital setting with a designated number of beds. - Potential for floating to other units based on facility needs. - Additional information regarding the dress code, parking, and scheduling specifics will be provided upon inquiry. **Application Process:** To be considered for this opportunity, please ensure you meet all the requirements listed above.
