**Job Title: Operating Room Nurse** **Shift:** Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities **Position Overview:** We are seeking a highly skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and demonstrated leadership abilities, specifically within the dynamic environment of the operating room. This position requires experience in orthopedic procedures and the ability to provide comprehensive patient care throughout the surgical process. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, operating room technicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care. - Scrub and assist during surgical cases, adhering to the highest standards of the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory requirements. - Manage operating room supplies to ensure readiness and timeliness of surgical procedures. - Communicate effectively with patients' families, providing updates and support as needed. - Update and maintain physician preference cards to ensure alignment with surgical practices. - Supervise personnel delivering patient care and facilitate an efficient workflow in the operating room. **Qualifications:** - Valid nursing license in the state of practice. - Proven experience in operating room nursing with a preference for orthopedic experience. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to perform under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. - Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and adhering to safety protocols. **Additional Information:** - This position involves a total of 2 openings, designed to replace contractors. - Guaranteed hours within a 91-week contract duration. --- **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
