**Job Title: Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technician** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position is critical for providing patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and requires proficiency in various cardiac procedures. The successful candidate will work in a high-energy environment, collaborating closely with cardiologists and other medical professionals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab. - Monitor patients during procedures, including interpreting EKGs and monitoring arterial pressures. - Scrub and assist the physician during cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and compliance with protocols. - Perform left heart catheterizations (LHC), right heart catheterizations (RHC), percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), patent foramen ovale (PFO) closures, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), fractional flow reserve (FFR), and various peripheral interventions. - Work with advanced technologies such as CSI, Shockwave, Penumbra, and Impella devices. - Chart procedures accurately in the Change Healthcare EMR system. - Be available for call requirements: 2 days per week and 1-2 weekends per month. - Collaborate effectively with team members, contributing to a seamless patient experience. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 1-2 years of direct experience in a cardiac cath lab environment. - Valid certification as an RCIS, ARRT, or CVT is required. Surgical Techs with Cath Lab experience will also be considered. - Comprehensive knowledge and competency in cardiac cases and monitoring techniques. - Must be willing to scrub and monitor during procedures. - Preferred experience with the Change Healthcare EMR system. - Availability to work on Labor Day and Thanksgiving. **Contract Duration:** - 13-week commitment with a 10-hour day shift from 6:45 AM to 5:00 PM. - Guaranteed hours with no 48-hour guarantees; blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
